I made it into a pretty spectacular site Saturday morning. It was the huge Revival Temple Church just north of downtown Indianapolis on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Angi went with me and assisted this time. I shot about thirty frames of 35mm film and Angi shot video of the entire shoot. This place has been sitting empty for a good while now and has really started to come apart recently. We had to enter through the lower level into complete darkness and then seal ourselves inside to prevent anyone from following us in. Once inside we had to find our way through to the stairs to the sanctuary. There were artifacts everywhere and the place appeared to be sitting exactly as it had been left--no signs of vandilism or scavenging. Here are a few of my favorite frames from that day...
I'll be posting the video from this site just as soon as Angi completes her edits so be sure to check back. I'm really excited to see what she comes up with! Enjoy...
